It was effective in keeping our furniture legs and shoes away but it was easily hung up on cables, socks, and rug. We didn't include the Scout RX3 on our Best Buy list. Still, with a decent price and impressive performance, the Scout RX3 is worth considering when you're looking for an alternative to traditional uprights.
